- black lines represent a cut all the way through the card
- red lines indicate a mountain fold, so score the top side of the card
- blue lines indicate a valley fold, so score the bottom side of the card

General Tips
The thickness and makeup of the playing card stock imposes some limits on how intricate the folding designs can be. Some of the folding is quite time consuming and without due care the the folds can become brittle or tear. I have found that scoring on the appropriate side of the card can assist greatly in helping the folds to "emerge" as the card is warped from its flat state.
