El Hormiguero 3.0
In December 2018, I was invited to Madrid, Spain to cardstack for the popular nighttime talk/variety show El Hormiguero 3.0.
I spent 3 days (and nights) stacking cards in an empty soundstage only for "Greskey" to come in and destroy my work. (Greskey, as far as I could tell, is some sort of science-experiment gone wrong with a hunchback and carrying a giant sandwich - seriously, I'm not making this up - just watch the video). This project was a fun and challenging experience and I got to travel internationally and share my work with a new audience. It was freezing in the studio and I was stacking in solitude through the night using a small tungsten stage light as a way to warm my hands so that my fingers wouldn't go numb. Also, on this project, I did some "pre-vis" and you can see the original plan vs the finished project. |
