Empire State Building (January 2011)
For this project, I decided to build one of the most famous and recognizable skyscrapers in the world, the Empire State Building. This was a fun project to build.
I was very pleased with how efficiently I was able to build it. The cardstruction is basically just a series of strategically placed columns and walls to create the illusion of a solid volume. The exact footprint that I ended up using can be gleaned from watching the timelapse video embedded below.
